Your community has chosen Homefield Energy as your new retail electric supplier. You will receive notification from your community and Homefield Energy regarding the program. This notification will explain the program and provide instructions on the opt-out process.
Upon switching, customers will be charged the electric supply rate indicated in the table above. Customers can compare the new Homefield Energy electric supply rate to the applicable Ameren Illinois rate by checking the Price to Compare. The Price to Compare is calculated by the Illinois Commerce Commission to assist customers in comparing alternative retail electric supply rates against comparable utility charges. Please note that the utility’s delivery service charges, taxes and other fees are not included in the Homefield Energy price.
How to Enroll
It's simple. It's automatic. Unless you "opt-out" of the program, all eligible Ameren Illinois customer accounts will be enrolled in the program. You will receive a letter from Ameren Illinois confirming your enrollment, and savings will begin with the following month's meter read date.
Opt-Out Process
If you elect not to participate in the program, you will need to return the Opt-Out Card by the deadline indicated in the notification letter received from your municipality. Return the Opt-Out Card to:

If you choose to opt out, your account will remain with Ameren Illinois at the current utility rate.
